18. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

18.1 Appointment of Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, inBlood has appointed a Grievance Officer to address complaints about violations of these Terms or any concerns regarding inBlood .

18.2 Grievance Redressal Process

  1. Submission of Complaint: Any user may submit a complaint or grievance relating to the violation of this Agreement or any issues with inBlood by sending an email to the Grievance Officer.
  2. Acknowledgment: The Grievance Officer shall acknowledge receipt of any complaint within twenty-four (24) hours.
  3. Resolution Timeframe: The Grievance Officer shall:
    • Resolve complaints related to removal of sexually explicit content within forty eight (48) hours from the time of receipt of the complaint
    • Address and resolve other complaints within fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt
  4. Communication of Decision: The Grievance Officer shall communicate the decision on the complaint to the complainant.

18.3 Removal of Certain Content

inBlood shall remove or disable access to content within forty-eight (48) hours upon receiving a complaint from any individual or their authorized representative if such content:

  1. Shows such individual in full or partial nudity or in any sexual act or conduct; or
  2. Impersonates another person; or
  3. Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, libelous, or otherwise unlawful in nature.
